Hello ji🙏
ReplyDeleteI am sharing my story with you, as my father is admitted in the hospital ,is on the ventilator and I needed a Covid plasma donor.
The search started from 9.30 night and went up till next day 3.pm..till we finally found a Covid Plasma donor.
I called 12 -14 people , keeping in mind the match with my Father's blood group, However all got rejected...reason being the gap in knowing the correct information....
So, Please share this and guide everyone, with what a
a covid plasma donor , needs to keep in mind..
☑️ You were detected positive for covid and it's been total 28 days from the day it started.
☑️ Once you are tested negative and it's 14 days ,then you can donate plasma.
☑️ Age group should be from 19-55 years
☑️ Weight should be above 55 kgs .
☑️ You can be A, B, AB, O+ve or A, B, AB, O -ve (depending on which blood group is required for the patient)
☑️ 🌟You should NOT HAVE any of the following health issues like: BP, thyroid, uncontrolled diabetes, heart, kidney, liver, lungs issues, hypertension or being taking any life long medication.
☑️ They are looking only for a person who has a thick vein.
☑️ You need to carry your reports which says negative and show them the proof (hardcopy / softcopy)
☑️ When you visit they take your sample blood and test it. This process takes 15 minutes up to 1 hours time.
☑️ They check for CBP, antibodies and viral strings.
☑️ They 1st check for CBP and if your hemoglobin is above 13, then you are eligible for the antibodies and viral strings, which will take another 45 mins -1 hr..
☑️ If selected then you fill in a form where you write your details and register your name with the blood bank and then the process of the plasma treated treatment begins..
☑️ The process of plasma takes about 45 min to 1 hour.
☑️ Carry along a small water bottle something sweet to eat or drink.
So, Only after you clear all this you become an official Covid plasma donor.🙏
This information I have received personally from the blood bank personal.
So kindly share this with everyone, so that the attender and the patient gets the right treatment and we save a lot of time.
Thank you and let's save lives. 🙏🙏
